Peter Parker | Gwen Stacy
Less vomit was always good, in his experience.
Peter's gaze flickered down to Gwen's hand, and he suppressed a shiver - yeah, he knew what that felt like. Fire in the veins, doused with the worst ice you've ever felt - he'd never been in pain like that before. Even after everything - Peter's not sure he's ever felt anything as awful since.
(Well, physically. Emotionally is still a toss up at this point.)
"Yeah...I guess you're right. Just sucks but - " Peter can't help but laugh a little, running a hand over the back of his neck. "What else is new, right?"
"There were, uh, more, I guess?" He's not sure how he feels about that. He thinks if he'd come here before Thanos, that would have been like, the coolest news ever. Now he just feels hollow, but then, that's kind of his life now. "...thanks. Yeah I...I guess I do."
He feels guilty for thinking it, but he wonders: is he really going to be here long enough to get to know Gwen? To wrap his mind around his older self? The worried crease returns to his brow, but he doesn't say anything about what he's thinking.
Man. He misses May.
"What's your, uh - universe like?" Peter almost stutters on the word, because it seems so nuts, but hey, he was on a flying donut like yesterday. He can take this in stride. Sure.
