Pete and Pete
"Sorry man, I'd love to give you a better answer but that's all I've got right now - but I promise if I come up with something better you'll be the first to hear it." He assured Peter easily, grinning.
Snorting Peter shook his head, "Nah man, I promise you come in and eat as much as you like, we've got at least two super soldiers in town, we had three for a minute there and several other powered people, so you might have a little bit of competition when it comes to the biggest appetite," Chuckling when Peter mentioned the career shift, Peter nodded. "Yeah unfortunately there's just not that big a call for pictures of Spider-Man in a place like this." He shrugged, and well - even if there was, he had a feeling he might have a bit of competition from at least one of the others that had come through. "I worked with the Daily Bugle back home though. Got to say running the bar and making pizza feels like an improvement though."
It was a lot. Peter knew, it had been a lot when he arrived, so much so that all he'd wanted to do was lay down and take a nap and hope that when he woke up he'd be back home again.
It hadn't worked of course, but he had gotten some rest before he really had to start accepting that he was in this place and that there were other Peters Parker here too. This Peter didn't seem to be in quite the same camp as he had been then though.
"I wish I was too," He admitted with a sigh, "It's a lot, I know it is. And well - you look like maybe you've had a rough time before you came here too." He couldn't say for certain but Peter just had that look about him, and well if anyone knew what that look meant it was Peter. "But it's the world we're living in. It'll get easier in time." He added. "It's all just a lot in the beginning." And well it could be a lot even months on too, but you got used to carrying the weight better the more you did it.
"I thought maybe you knew already, at least before we started talking and after well -" He shrugged he could have lied he supposed, but Peter would figure it out eventually then he'd be the Peter who lied. "I just wanted you to know if you ever needed anyone to talk to - someone who knows at least a little bit about what you've gone through, the spider-man thing, well you can talk to me. We kind of stick together, I'm around."
