Peter Parker | Gwen Stacy
Something about this particular Peter Parker had always struck a chord in her. He was younger, maybe that was it. But there was an endearing sort of feeling that always resonated in her when she was around him at home. It might not have been fair to always loop him into that same person, that same feeling, even though he was the same Peter. But he'd been here a few times now and she'd always thought maybe he was the best of them, when it came to the Spiderlings.
He also reminded her a little of her Peter when they were kids. Not as much when they got older, but even just the way he was standing there now; there was a similarity there that pulled at her heart.
"Yeah," she said. "Sorry, I know it's a little jarring. There are actually.. well, a lot of Spider-People spread out across the multiverse. Even here, we've had a handful at times. Crazy, but I dunno, for me it was kind of comforting too? I felt alone a lot back home, like I was in it by myself. But now I know there are a lot of us and that's.. I guess it's less lonely? Even if I never meet them all."
