Shit just about summed it all up really - both the worlds they came from and the situation that messing with alternate dimensions created, but also being pulled here to this place and what it meant for them being stuck here. Tony just nodded with a little bit of a sigh, because what else was there to say? It just got more complicated the more details you added to it and he'd already thrown more than enough at Steve as it was.
Thankfully his comment about the fashion managed to pull Steve toward a little less heavy topics and Tony just grinned, "I mean look, I'm not saying you don't look bitchin'" Tony said repeating the wording that Steve had, "But, like, just wait until you try some updated fashion, okay. You'll see what I mean," He pause for a moment considering Steve's look, "You can keep the hair though, that's pretty great."
"Oh yeah, yeah they can play games if you want, I can put a few on there for you if you want." Before his eyes went wide at the suggestion that it was like War Games, "Oh man no, not like that, like that whole thing was crazy, but no - this phone isn't connected to any sort of like military weaponry, and it doesn't have the kind of AI that they were trying to use in the movie. Basically it's like a video game in your pocket, you don't even need the tv to play it." Or were games still played in arcades where Steve was from? Tony wasn't sure.
"Oh god Steve, you have so much to learn - you're like.... man I thought my Steve was bad." He said shaking his head and grinning, "I have this friend Steve from home, his whole thing is complicated, but he was frozen for like 80 years so you know we've gotten to show him so much. I can handle teaching you about the twenty first century my dude, I've done this before." He was having fun now, enjoying Steve and his confusion simply because it meant he could show him all the new interesting things that he knew and loved.
But going home wasn't something he could do or even enjoyed telling Steve about unfortunately. "No," He shook his head, "There's not a way back, not yet at least. But we're working on it." He promised, "Maybe in time we'll figure it out." He didn't really want to add that sometimes people just disappeared too, figuring he'd done damage enough to Steve's world view already.
