Eddie & Hopper
"You'd think so." He sighed because, yeah, that seemed like the most logical thing. When you got lost in the woods, you weren't supposed to wander further into them. Since the doors eventually brought you back it was smart to assume that you could wait it out. After the hotel, however, he was pretty sure it wouldn't be that easy. It couldn't be that easy. "I'm pretty sure wherever the hell we've ended up won't let it be that easy." Nothing ever was.
Moving was probably the better idea. Sitting around in the middle of the woods seemed like they were asking for trouble. Who knew when the doors would decide they'd had enough and send them home? Eddie's experiences weren't of the creepy woods variety but he wasn't deaf. He could pick up the sound of something breathing. Something that was probably dangerous. "Maybe we should keep moving..." He suggested.
Hearing the comment about waffles brought a frown to Eddie's face. He couldn't help but feel a little guilty about all of this. Hopper was new. He was doing this for his daughter. Eddie had wanted to help and had wound up dragging him into something that sort of felt like certain death. He hadn't wanted that. He'd just wanted a nice, safe little trip. He just wanted to help the guy out. If Hopper died because Eddie had picked the wrong damn door he was going to hate himself later.
