Eddie & Hopper
"By that logic all we have to do is sit tight and we'll be sent back there." Hopper wasn't so sure about that. Sitting tight might be a good idea, but it might be the worst idea. Staying in one place made a person an easy target, but being on the move made a person a target as well.
There was no easy answer, and Hopper's preference was to keep moving. It might have been his imagination, or the expectation because of his past experiences with creepy woodsy type environments, but he was pretty sure he could hear something breathing nearby. And it wasn't Eddie.
"All I want is some god damn frozen waffles." This was a hell of a price to pay to get them. And he'd dragged someone else along for the ride. If anything happened to Eddie, he'd feel guilty for the rest of his...life, if he was even actually alive. If this was even actually happening.
