Leia Organa | Siri Tachi
Throw a blaster at her, Leia was far more deadly and would have taken far greater risks. Here it was becoming dangerous so quickly, too quickly for someone whose abilities were not yet second nature, whilst attuned to the Force and the sense that was making it impossible to ignore the hostility in this large being that was rising, Leia knew it would be foolish not to fall into line with the Jedi Master’s direction. They learned soon enough, that it was not just the one beast either. Her inclination was to keep herself out of the way, nearer to being Siri's shadow.
In the same moment as Siri called her warning Leia ignited her own lightsaber, a very pale hue with the barest tint to it, but close to violet - like her brother Leia lacked the skill and finesse of a student who’d perfected the forms of combat from youth. But the Force-user was learning to trust (especially given the darkness) what she could feel, and sense over what she was seeing, or predicting. Her low, short swing was a secondary threat, the light from the glowing sabers making long teeth and yellow eyes flash from the darkness. Leia kept sharp and alert to the reach within which Siri swung and struck with the precision of a Master and severed the beasts limb. Soon after, in an aggressive move to preserve their lives that Leia could see the sense in, the beast was relieved of it’s head.
Fighter in her own right or not, and often too headstrong for her own good Leia was still letting Siri lead, yet couldn’t help attempting to keep the other woman’s back covered - which perhaps was not the wisest move. It brought Leia’s focus narrow, allowed a simple third howling distract her for just a moment to be caught off guard as the remaining creature had made to leap at her in a rush of bristling dark fur. Snapping, drooling jaws went for the wrist clutching her lightsaber, as Leia hit the ground hard under the monster’s weight, and the weapon clattered from her hand, the blade receding. The air blown from her lungs by the fall, Leia didn’t have much of a sound in her.
