Eddie & Hopper
A gun would be useful. Eddie would take the gun over a few sharp sticks. Who knew? Maybe it would've come in handy back in Derry. They hadn't actually tried bullets against the child-eating monster clown. There was a chance it would've worked. Or, maybe, it only would've worked if they believed it did? Derry was weird. Where else could you kill a clown using the power of friendship and belief?
It was probably a good thing Eddie didn't know anything about the Upside Down or the vines that had attacked and tried to kill Hopper once. It was hard enough to watch their surroundings. He didn't need to have to worry about the vines or roots that surrounded them too.
"The town's not that creepy." He said before stopping to think about it. "No. Okay. You're right. The town is creepy." It was empty and just... empty. Who built it? Why? Were there people inside of it once? If so, where did they go? How did they actually live without electricity, running water, and working toilets? Eddie would've liked to know the answer to any of those but the last question held a special sort of importance. How the hell did anyone live like that?
"Well, I've been told that no on really gets trapped here." He said. "You can't stay in these places indefinitely. Eventually you end up back in that town." And he assumed it was one of those things where you just found yourself back in the house with the doors. That was the only thing that made sense if someone really wanted to leave and decided a life wherever the doors lead was better than nothing.
