Lunafreya | Nebula
Lunafreya didn't need to be told twice. There was a stray thought, how many times have I had to run while someone else fights for me, but the truth was, she had little choice. She'd foolishly come through the door with just a short sword, instead of something more substantial. She ran, her feet crashing through the forest, risking a glance over her shoulder to make sure Nebula was close by. She couldn't stand to lose someone else who protected her. It wasn't fair.
Panting, she drew Valkyrie's borrowed sword to have it ready in her hand. It was smaller, but that was why she'd originally chosen it. Valkyrie hadn't left any staff or bo weapons, which was the one thing Lunafreya excelled at. But she at least knew enough not to cut herself on it.
"I think it's following," she called back, not risking another look. If she did, she would end up tripping and then probably cutting herself indeed. As her words ended, she stumbled into a small clearing, little more than a rise of the ground. She was already several steps in before she saw the shadowed hole ahead. A small cavelike entrance, a....den? Skidding to a stop, she saw beady eyes glowing from the darkness ahead.
"Uh...I think we've gotten a little too close," she managed, a strangled whisper.
