Loki did a terrible slash upon the internet. (lie_smith) wrote in snapthread,
Thor | Loki
A backhanded compliment from Loki was most certainly better than no compliment at all. "You have no good ideas, usually," he called right back, waving away his focus and letting his doubles disperse into nothing -- Thor was doing enough down there with his axe (not the hammer) and his lightning where there was no real point in continuing to create noise down there. Or to mask his own voice from where he was.
It was nice to see Thor in action though, even Loki would admit. There was something fun about it, something invigorating. And it was always his preference, particularly when the other option was Thor lazing around their house, demanding the odd confection.
No. This was how Thor was meant to be.
And even though Loki had other ways to attack -- long range magics -- or he could (and sometimes did) chose to not participate at all -- well. He wanted to be down there too, back to back with his brother, his own weapons flashing deadly in his hands as he made short work of these creatures. And so he was. He even made the exaggerated stabby motion himself a few times.
They were probably deadly to some, these beasts, but not to the brothers Odinson.
