Thor | Loki
Thor mostly took everything someone else said at face value. There were times, admittedly, when he did not trust Loki enough to believe him but for the most part he just sort of believed what everyone said. In this case, it actually worked out because he'd come up with a better idea than the first.
No one could ever accuse Loki -- from any world -- of not being a sass master. Thor made a bit of a face, but he actually took more pride in the fact that Loki was praising his idea. A bit (a lot) backhanded, but he'd take it anyway because it was Loki. "I have loads of good ideas, brother. You just don't appreciate them," he said as he flew up into the air, all mighty in the way lightning started to crack around him and flow around and through his body, all being channeled into Storm Breaker. Once the creatures were running through the area where Loki had cast the illusions of himself trying to attack, he flew down and struck the ground with his axe, sending wave after wave of electricity through all of the creatures as they attacked. Any that escaped and lunged at him, he struck with the electrified axe mid air and took down. "Loki!" He waved up at his brother and made the stabby motion again. "I have cleared the way for your small blade."
