He'd never really seen Gwen -- Spider Woman -- in action either. But just from the last few minutes, he knew he didn't have to worry about her, not really. She had Peter's skills, plus some. Like she was more confident, maybe. And that was great, considering. Not that he wouldn't still worry. That was just what you had to do when your kid was about to face off against fuck knew what.
"Thanks," Tony said, grinning despite it all. And look, he wasn't well known for taking much of anything seriously -- at least from an outward appearance. He could joke and still get the job done. "I made it myself." And no, his scanners weren't finding a door, but they were going off about things in all directions and while he would have preferred a door, they still had options.
"Too easy. But I'm going to light this place up and hope that whatever's out here doesn't do nearly as well in the light." FRIDAY already had it going - nanotech building into the large reactor that usually gave him a firepower boost.
It made everything bright, projecting long shadows from trees, uncovering hiding, dark creatures. If they couldn't have the arial advantage, they could at least have this.
