Father/Daughter Woods Bad Time
Yeah, he'd kind of figured that moving was in their future. And it was --fine? It wasn't like Tony was good at sitting still anyway and since the woods were vast, and the door had disappeared it was just as likely they'd come across it if they were moving as if they weren't. Which was to say the odds of finding a door were pretty terrible, especially because Tony didn't have all the numbers he needed to plug in the variables properly.
Still. Who really cared when even in the dark, in the night, he could have Gwen giggling?
He was about to respond to her question of whether or not he'd heard something (he had not) when he was letting out a little yelp instead -- he knew Gwen was strong but knowing it and seeing it were two different things. Tony would marvel on it more later though -- he wasn't still alive after all these years because he waited around without a plan, after all. With a twitch of his fingers his suit was already building itself around him and by the time they were back on the ground, the repulsors in his boots and palms were already whining -- the HUD monitoring everything left and right.
Whatever was out there? It was fast.
"They're in the trees," he noted, stepping closer yet to Gwen because keeping her safe was his current and only mission. "This is... not and advantage for us."
