Father/Daughter Woods Date?
It was absolutely about the time spent together. Tony, of course, cherished every moment with Gwen no matter what age she was. It was, admittedly, a little strange getting used to her being normal sized and aged again and while he was happy about it because Gwen was clever and funny and charismatic, he also sort of missed her being the tiny little thing she was where he'd been able to carry her around with one arm. She'd been so dramatic and cute and he was only glad he had photos and video to prove it now.
But. For all that he loved and enjoyed Gwen's company, this particular locale wasn't really doing it for him. He'd never been one for nature, and the darkness of it all wasn't really impressing him much either -- even if his arc reactor was lending some light to the situation, casting a faint blue around them even through his shirt. "I'd do a lot for a hot dog and a mani-pedi right now," he admitted (because of course Tony liked those sorts of things) even as he squinted off into the distance and was found wanting with only a return of darkness.
"But..." Well. They were both aware that there wasn't a hot dog stand on the other side of the trees. They'd been wandering for a while now and there didn't seem to be an end to them at all. And Tony was nothing if not observant -- this wasn't the first time she'd scratched at her neck, uncomfortable. "I guess you never know," he decided on. Because he wasn't about to be the one to tell Gwen this situation seemed pretty damned miserable -- and that was before he factored in all the weird noises and rustling. FRIDAY wasn't liking the view behind his glasses.
