Natasha | Bucky
After her first time through the door with Eddie, Natasha had been interested in going through again - gathering more information and experience so she could have a better idea about how they worked. And maybe she'd be able to answer the question of what it looked like when the door didn't find itself conveniently located on the outside of a building.
Which was probably why she'd picked the forest in the first place. It was dark, but there didn't seem to be any obvious buildings, so she'd gone through, to settle her own curiosity. Turning back to look and see how the door fit there in the space - and just like she'd imagined of the field she and Eddie had seen in the beginning. It was just a door that stood up on its own the forest on one side and the town on the other. Though when she looked around from the other side it was just more woods.
What she hadn't counted on was the door swinging closed on its own - like a strong gust of wind had blown it shut. She didn't love that. And trying the handle only made it that much more clear how much she didn't like it.
In the end she gave up trying to open it, either she'd find a way back or she wouldn't. What she wasn't going to do was lose her cool over it. Though the growling in the trees certainly didn't help her with that. She probably should have gotten her hands on a weapon by this point, but she hadn't really planned on needing anything like that. She'd just have to take care of things with her bare hands of she needed to. She kept her hands up as she moved, carefully through the trees, watching each step to make sure she moved silently through the brush, and toward where she thought something might be lurking ready to strike first.
