Alpha Peter ([info]pbandparker) wrote in [info]snapthread,
She was probably better than him, Peter thought, but he was having fun regardless - it wasn't so much about winning or being the best but just about having fun. And they had that taken care of easily. He laughed as she cheered him on too, though and he grinned racing up after here. "You think he's gonna be able to see you from all the way up here?" He wondered laughing at the idea of it - like they were so high up that no one would be able to see them from there.

In truth, it wasn't that high, but for a kid who hadn't always had the ability to climb walls? Well it was pretty dang high - higher than he'd have ever climbed if he couldn't do this. But here they both were climbing high and making plans to look out over the whole town.

"Maybe we'll see something cool up there." He thought, swinging up from a lower rung and then taking a jump up to another until they'd made it up to the top together. "What do you think?" He asked her as he found a perch for himself up there, feeling pretty cool about it. "We can see everything up here." Or as much of everything that there was here in this town.
