Truthfully, this might have been what he was interested in much more than whether or not Crowley was interested in keeping children, which they seemed to have already done so his feelings on the matter were only slightly moot. But the easy weight of Crowley against him, the way they fit together and the thrill of it was well worth the question that had brought it on. And it seemed that they'd both for the moment at least, settled that the girls were interesting and very much worth whatever amount of minor trouble it might be in hosting them as long as they'd like to stay with them.
It was Crowley's dismissal of his magic that was the issue now though. "Children love slight of hand, dear." He said an indignant huff. "You remember Warlock's party, they adored the magic act." He insisted, despite all evidence to the contrary on that day. He was quite certain that it had gone over perfectly. "What is the appeal of real magic in a place with wizards?" But slight of hand? His small magic act? Well he was quite certain that was something special no matter what Crowley said to the contrary.
Still when it was all said and done, he did after a moment, lift a hand to catch the pads of his fingers against Crowley's chin and kissed him, because for all that Crowley might be contrary he was still exactly who he wanted.
