Anthony J Crowley: Vaguely Sauntering Downward (_crowley_) wrote in snapthread,
It wasn't as if Crowley was intentionally using their closeness as a distraction, but it certainly didn't bother him that it worked out that way either. There was something he liked very much about being able to throw Aziraphale off. Even more so, he liked the response he got -- further welcoming and then light, flirtatious touching and a gentle tap at his hip. Maybe it was a little bit of a distraction for him too, because Crowley was making himself further at home (always happy to take what was being offered to him) and sort of forgot that he was waiting on a response at all.
The Angel only got a thoughtful nod over how different the two girls were -- because it was obvious, and not just because they were blue and green instead of the usual earthy skin tones. Although that didn't hurt for a hint, either.
Crowley settled an arm lazy around Aziraphale's shoulders and huffed out a noise of both relief and somehow mixed it up with derision too. "They won't find it amusing now, Angel. Just use real magic."
