Anthony J Crowley: Vaguely Sauntering Downward (_crowley_) wrote in snapthread,
Yes, the town was most certainly running rampant with children. It was like there'd been a good BOGO sale on them and now all the shops were empty but the streets were full. Or, well, as full as they ever got in this sleepy little town.
It was certainly a bit louder, lately. Even here, in their own home. Not that it was normally quiet here because Aziraphale talked to himself and tutted over this and that and Crowley wasn't going to admit he was any better, particularly now they'd gotten a few house plants. But this was a different kind of loud. More foot steps on the floors and the like.
He took the offered glass and stretched out in his chair, on leg over the armrest, his elbow holding up the majority of his weight on the other one. "Oh, she basically parents herself," he said both because it was true and because if his angel wanted him to admit to something, there'd need to be more effort put in.
