"It counted as breakfast," Richie said reasonably because yeah, he had gone through the box already. He'd shared, to his credit. It wasn't like he was just cramming them all in his face and then sniffing around for more food. In fact right now food was really the farthest thing from his mind possible. He was, after all, a teenager so he varied between being constantly hungry and never hungry anyway.
He adjusted his glasses and looked up at Dick with an expression that said he was thinking things through before he talked -- which was a hell of a lot more impressive than Dick probably realized. "I want to see those doors," he blurted after a second. Yeah, maybe not too much thought. "And you said you'd take me if I was cool. But it's also cool if you don't want to. How hard can they be to find anyway?" He had a suspicion about a house up on the hill, but didn't say so. The unspoken sentiment there was that Rich was going either way, but he'd prefer the company if it was still on offer.
