At first, Lunafreya looked at him solemnly as he imparted advice, as if she was doubtful or skeptical. But at his understanding tone, she brightened and finally smiled. "I could do that. I can see if maybe they'll play with me. I'll never know otherwise, right?" She took another spoonful, a little bit bigger. Nyx always made her feel better; she remembered that much.
She was grateful for his honesty about loss. It was what she suspected; how could this sort of pain ever hurt less? "I won't ever forget them," she said, quietly but with purpose. "I never want to forget anyone who dies to save others, to save us. It just....feels very lonely." She bit her lower lip. "I don't know what to do, most of the time. No one is telling me what I should do."
