He leaned against the countertop with his drink and marveled for a moment what it was like to stand behind the bar. It felt like something out of Cheers, but more bizarre.
"I mean. Again. My long term and very serious boyfriend is a child. That's a bit of a day ruiner. It's not even my fault and I'm definitely not going there but I feel like a pervert anyway." He waved away the idea of food. "Thanks anyway. But I've had more than my share of Lucky Charms for the day."
