Well this wasn't so bad, not at all - she knew she was safe here, and maybe it was okay that for ..the time being, she didn't have to see her family; she loved her parents, absolutely she did, but she'd already got past lunch time, and she hadn't had to do any lessons at all - no boring languages, or deportment or history of the galaxy. She'd been allowed to wear (she’d found out about a wizard who shrunk clothing.) what she liked, she could eat when she wanted, she could go wherever she wanted here without being told what to do ...or having TooVee rolling around after her, fussing over the fact there was dirt on her face, or that she wasn’t allowed to run places, or that she was slouching; generally just stopping Leia from doing anything deemed 'too dangerous' by the Droid. Which was basically anything fun.
She liked that no one seemed to know who she was here, no one was going to snitch on her.
Leia was headed to get herself something to eat from the man that had said they could come into town for meals and running up to the door she nearly collided with someone coming out of it, but they both skittered to the side, and she was faced with a boy about her age, startled, but recovering with smile.
The young royal’s social time was equally as strictly regulated as everything else she did, it was only ever spent with her classmates, all girls her age. Of course, she immediately wanted to befriend this boy, plus he had snacks. "Sure! I was getting something to eat anyway." She beamed, before she giggled at the bird and it’s honking. “Hi Frank.” she peered at the pink, long-necked beast. “I'm Leia.” She voiced, her brown gaze shifting to the boy too; information being offered to both him at the bird, it seemed.
“D’you want some help with those?” She asked looking amused, motioning to the fact the boy had his arms near full with snacks.
