She did like the idea of finding an adult later, that felt better, like maybe they could make sense of things if they just found someone who could explain it. Because surely someone had to know what was going on. Kitty liked things to have order, to understand how it all worked and know that things were going the way they were supposed to. So she nodded when he suggested that.
John was kind of gross, the way boys were, she ate more slowly, taking her time and considering his suggestion of a wizard. Almost immediately she'd wanted to tell him that no, there were no such things as wizards, but she wasn't entirely sure about that suddenly. But she couldn't understand why. "It's not a very funny joke if that's what it is." She said with a little huff. "I dunno." She lifted her shoulders when he asked about tv, "Maybe? We can look." But she didn't think they did. There were just a lot of questions and not many answers to be had just yet. "After cereal." She decided. "Then we'll find all the answers. Together."
