It's not fucked up. I think that's a sentiment shared by a lot of people, too, I just don't happen to be one of them, but the appeal of it isn't a mystery to me. We're all gonna have a different take on it, and it doesn't mean that anyone's take is wrong. We're just all sort of in different life-places. I get why people feel trapped and frozen in time, even if I don't. I understand chafing under that.
And sure, maybe it's never been your strong suit, but there's a difference between being aware of a problem and knowing you need to work on a problem. And it's something that's worth getting in front of, don't you think? If it's what you're afraid of most in yourself. I've never known you to be afraid of rushing headlong at a challenge, even if your opponent is yourself.
