Heh, I think it's more a matter of looking at it from the mods' perspective (although more viable options for the creator is always a good thing). ;) Like I told Leela: I think the idea here is that added pairings increase the mods' chances of making good assignment matches -- and the increase is more significant if there are a good number of options in any one category rather than simply across categories.
And hey, if someone only really wants to receive one or two pairings... well, that's what pairing-specific fests are for, right? Yeah, some of them have stopped running, but still, the point is -- different types of fests are designed for different sorts of preferences. If you do multiple-pairing fests, you have to be open to multiple pairings. :P (Which I assume is probably why you're not doing Snapely -- I'm guessing you'll be on board for the Snarry stuff? And KK, of COURSE! ;D)
