OMG... this is brilliant. The award is totally cool and amazing, and so arethe story and art.
I'm glad I was able to help out. These exchanges are an enormous amount of work (and I'm only more aware of that after working on swap). So, if I'm able to help again next year, just let me know.
I love the idea of Bill not being able to settle in England, even in somewhere as remote as Shell Cottage. That fits in so well with the character we see in canon, especially with it being not just the result of his scars but an extension of what drove him to Egypt in the first place. And Snape, going somewhere remote, bathing in the moonlight. That image is so spectacular.
Which brings me to the art and the moment you caught. Snape, so relaxed, bathing nude under the full moon. He's usually so covered up that this becomes a very special moment, when he'd able to drop all his protections and expose himself to the desert. And to Bill, of course. Because no matter what Bill thinks, I cannot believe that Snape doesn't know he's there.
