This is such a lovely, detailed comment; thank you so much! I've written both Severus and Moody before, but this is my first m/m story (I don't really count my centaur one), so I'm glad to hear that things work in it.

"Waspish" is exactly the way I like to write Snape, so I'm pleased you liked him. And you can't know how you pleased me by saying they sound British, because that's another worry I have. I guess all those hours spent reading British detective novels haven't been wasted after all. /g/
