Days and months and years were lazy thread work, and all it took was the gentlest flex of memory to burst the stitches open again.

Such gorgeous writing!

The plot and the characterisations in this fic are exquisite. While your Slughorn is spot-on as the character we know from canon, he's also got a psychological depth here which makes him extremely compelling. Wonderful work, and impressive throughout.

And oh, do I love that the story is set in Victoria - I travelled there once and spent some memorable time there, and your vivid descriptions bring it all back.:-)
