the_bitter_word has said her Good-byes a while ago, and we'll send her off in style. :)
Let's thank her for all her hard work by giving her some art in a Special Challenge.
Severus says Good-Bye and Thank You.
Use any medium you like, this challenge is not restricted to ArtPad. Try to make it funny, but in this case, sad is just as well.
Sexy is also an option. Or eccentric.
This isn't a contest, we just want to see art, there won't be winners or losers. However, the first three entries (on ij and lj, so that's six) will get a banner.
The Special Challenge will end on Tuesday, September 9th.
Go and pimp it, please. Artistic talent is welcome, but not required. Get creative and have fun.

I know, let's have a
Today is the birthday of _vocalion_, the founder and guiding spirit behing the Society for Nonsensical ArtPad Enthusiasts or S.N.A.P.E. In addition to defacing her hilarious artwork (Funny Business, above), we have decided to throw her a special celebration "contest," with the winner already declared. It is _vocalion_, and the prize will be drawings by participants.
The theme we've chosen is "movie heroes." Show Snape replacing a movie hero, with the usual Snape flair. Any art medium is allowed for this special contest! Humor is, of course, much more important than artistic chops. Post entries as a response here. The contest will run until June 11 to allow those who are on vacations to participate.
If you want to do another theme, that is acceptable, too!
So, let's see those paintings! And to _vocalion_,

This is the week of Severus Snape's Birthday. Let's hope it won't be his last! The New Special Challenge: Romantic Snape!
With this challenge we celebrate our new and first affiliate,
romancingwizard
The challenge runs from Tuesday, November 28th to Tuesday, December 12th.
Draw or paint Snape in a romantic situation. Since this challenge will last two weeks, please only submit new art. You can either use ArtPad or a medium of your choice. It should be romantic, but doesn't have to be funny.
Everyone is welcome, artistic talent is not required. Apart from this, our usual rules apply. Check out our community for help on ArtPad or if you have questions. Please post your entries to this community or link from your own journal.

Since this is a special challenge, you are not required to use ArtPad, but any medium of choice, except photo-collages or the like. It doesn't need to be funny either, although it would be very much appreciated. Older art that fits the theme is very welcome, too!
