Rules for Posting in Snape Rarepairs
Rules For Posting
Original text by rexluscus
1. You must be over the age of legal majority in your country to post, read or view material rated NC-17. Violators of this rule will be summarily banned.
2. Please have your fic beta-read before posting. This is not an absolute requirement but is strongly encouraged. If you don’t have a beta reader, you can find one at the livejournal (not isanejournal) community hp_betas. If that still doesn't work, contact the moderator and she'll try to help you out.
3. Please put any story longer than 100 words or image larger than 100x100 behind an LJ-cut. PLEASE. Any adult content must also be behind an LJ-cut, even if it's under 100 words. (Incidentally, that means no porn in your summaries or image thumbnails.) If you forget and do not respond to requests to add an LJ-cut to your post, it will be deleted.
4. When posting fic or art, please use the following form for your subject header:
FIC/ART: Story/Picture Title - Pairing - Rating (if art, indicate whether it is worksafe or non-worksafe, abbreviated WS and NWS).
This is important because the moderator will periodically add your posts to the community memories and including this information in your header will make her life much easier.
5. Please include the following information at the top of your story or art post, BEFORE your LJ-cut:
Title:
Author/Artist:
Pairing:
Rating:
Challenge (if any):
Warnings:
Disclaimer:
Notes (if any):
Summary:
6. Please rate your fic or art appropriately and provide the appropriate warnings. If your story or art contains chan (sexual content involving someone under the age of 18), you MUST warn for this or risk deletion, as many people live in countries where it is illegal to read or view such material. (The easiest way to do this, if you are writing about a young or school-aged character, is simply to put the age of that character in your warnings.) If your story or art contains any kinks, squicks or other content that might be disturbing to some people, it is polite and highly advisable to warn for these. If you are uncertain about your rating or warnings, please contact the moderator before posting and she will help you decide what is appropriate.
