Jesus, that was amazing. I'm pretty speechless right now, Mystery Author - partly because I'm only just starting to get over the biggest crying jag I've had reading a Snarry story since I read The Sensible Garden. That's how much it got to me - not just what happens with Draco, but what happens with Harry throughout that entire experience, how it changes him, how it makes him someone who knows his mind and knows what he has to give to Snape when the time comes. I love the trajectory of their relationship - it rings so true to them both - and I just really adore how Harry's coming-of-age is so much like him, with all of his vast capacity to love. That he chooses, in the end, to give all of that compassion, love, and understanding to Snape - god, just beautiful.
