The Severus/Harry Big Bang Feedback Challenge Winners...
The Severus/Harry Big Bang~~ers~~ mods would like to thank everyone who participated in our feedback challenge. We were thrilled with all the detailed and thoughtful comments the entries received and the overwhelming appreciation, support and encouragement they provided to our authors and artists. None of us are paid to do this, and while we all enjoy making art or writing stories and no one is required to comment on works they've enjoyed, we are all encouraged by feedback. It helps us continue with what we do; it makes us feel like our efforts are appreciated and valued, makes us strive to improve ourselves, and in the long run, it gives all of us more to see and read.

In that spirit of celebration, the feedback challenge officially ended Monday, November 19 at 12:00 noon though new comments are always welcome.

We'd again like to thank our Big Bang Art Co-captains tripperfunster and veridari as well as BB participants deirdre_aithne and starcrossedgirl for so generously donating their time and talent to our contest winners. The three winners of the "Top Commenter" prize and the "Luck of the Draw" winner will receive either a short, original Snarry fic (approx 1,500-2k words) OR a piece of traditional media or digital art created to their specifications.

Your mods have to admit they were forced to resort to the services of the Goblet of Fire in determining winners for all four contests as there was more than one potential winner for each.

There was a seven-way tie for top commenter and each semi-finalist commented on all the eligible entries. Semi-finalists included:

And the winners are:

Top Commenter:

As for the "Luck of the Draw", the Goblet of Fire decided that the snape_potter champion winner would be:

1. drarryxlover/cathcer1984 wins fic from deirdre_aithne

But since we couldn't let people go away empty-handed after all that work, we created some banners all our semi-finalists can use in their journals or on their user information pages.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who played along. Winners will be contacted via PM or email with prizes to be delivered similarly to a charity auction in a timely manner but when it is convenient to both parties.

	It's the fest that keeps on giving! While it was nice to have an incentive for people to read, it does make sense that most will need more than a month to read and really enjoy all the entries to the fullest. (Reply to this) (Parent)
