This was such a lovely story - I loved the flashbacks that filled in the (altered) past and gave tantalizing hints about Snape's yearning melancholy and Harry's frank bitterness. That first appearance by Harry, looking and sounding so altered and unlike himself, was heartbreaking; you really empathize with Snape for the loss of the more open and alive Harry. When he becomes something more like his old self and Snape allows himself to love him, it's so...deserved. I really adored the story of the silver lily and Snape's demand that Draco Obliviate him - his brokenness and pain in that moment are really palpable. Such a charming work - well done!!
The drawings were so evocative - I think I love best the one of Snape healing Harry (and NOT [just] for that tantalizing bit of what's beneath the sheets!) - you can almost sense his tension even as he makes himself vulnerable to Snape.
