There are so many stories that I just adore of yours, but I have to say that this one is far and away my favorite - and that's really saying something. I love your literally clueless!Harry at the beginning and how trusting he is in Snape; he may not know himself, but he knows where he'll be safe and cared for regardless. And this Snape of yours is so cautiously eager - wanting Harry and even a bit of the world, wanting that Order of Merlin so badly (and I absolutely adore how you take something that, in canon, makes Snape seem that much more petty and turn it into a window on his soul) - he's a real revelation. But my favorite thing here - more than the sex, even! - are those bits of Harry's books that you include from time to time. They're all so touching, but none more than Poppy's observations of young Severus in his desperate loneliness - it made my heart break, and I'm even getting a little teary writing it here, for heaven's sake, but they make his rewards - the OoM, and mostly Harry himself - so richly deserved. Truly a magnificent story - I loved every word of it.
Vividescent - what amazing colors and lines!! I'm in love with the quilt - the patterns, the way it covers them both so comfortably. You capture the heart of the story in your art - beautiful and touching. Just lovely.
