Mellow & wonderful
A very long, engaging, heartwarming and mellow love story, matured like wine. I usually prefer first times and had a bit of effort taking in the numerous past lovers for both Severus and Harry but I loved the slow process of getting to know each other again.
The details of the B&B were lovely, from the public rooms to the private ones, from Harry's personal touch in the kitchen, skilled and honed to the very minutes, to Severus' adorable and valiant effort in taking over when Harry was injured.
I also loved the tiny but rich details of the clock and the adaptations and acceptance they made in each other's lives. There is certainly no talk of getting old, just getting better.
Harry's special generosity and tribute to those he loved was very much in evidence with the toy shop and the restaurant and the clothes shop.
The rings were the final touch to this gem of a story. It was crafted with love and that shone through. Well done!
