It only makes sense that Snape would have a back-up plan in case he died before the time came for him to tell Harry what he needed to know. I like the secondary plan better: Live, and then find Harry (or actually, arrange for Harry to find him). I've always thought that Phoenix tears (and antivenins) were the best explanation for how Snape survived, and I like that Dumbledore bequeathed Fawkes to Severus just in case of that necessity. Things seemed to progress quite naturally from Harry's first brave kiss into an indescribably hot sex scene. This is just exactly what I was hoping to read tonight. I'm so lucky and happy I found it.
