Whatever your poison, whatever your favorite Snarry cliche, it's allowed in this fest. Want to see Snape get transformed into a sleek but cantankerous feline? How about some Snape saves Harry from the Dursleys fic? Perhaps someone can't help but want to play matchmaker or is curious about Snape's reputation as a Slytherin Sex God? How about some Patronus sex? And is there a hint of mpreg in that forced bonding fic?
Maybe that isn't your flavor. Perhaps you like your Snarry dark or angsty. Maybe you want something where Voldemort won? Or where being used as a pawn for so long had less than fluffy consequences for either (or both) of our heroes?
Perhaps you'd like to turn a cliche on its ear. Maybe Harry catches Snape masturbating in the Quidditch changing rooms or the broom shed. Maybe it's Harry who is a 40 year old virgin. Whatever the cliche, whatever you do to it, we want to read/see it, too. Put a new spin on an old trope or revisit an old favorite. All cliches are welcome here.

FAQs:
Q. - Where will the fest be held?
A. - The fest will be held at snape_potter and all stories, art, and mod posts will be cross-posted to IJ, LJ, and DW. Commenting will be enabled at all three sites.
Q. - Will there be a call for prompts?
A. - Not this time. The theme of the fest is 'Cliches'. That means all the entries need to include a cliche of some kind. Possibilities include (but are not limited to): cliche scenarios (Snape saves Harry from the Dursleys), cliche characteristics (super powerful Harry, Quidditch-toned thighs), or cliche professions (Potions Shop owner!Snape, DADA instructor!Harry). If you can fit a cliche in there somewhere, we can make it work. ;D
Q. - Do you have a list of *optional* cliches in case someone needs inspiration?
Q. - What if I don't want to write the standard cliche? What if I want to change things up at bit?
A. - That's great! You don't have to stick with the standard formula. Feel free to turn the cliche on its head. Or not. Either is perfectly fine here.
Q. - When will I be able to sign-up?
A. - Sign-ups begin on Monday, Aug 1 at Noon EST.
Q. - How do I sign up?
A. - Sign-ups should be made in the comment section of the sign-up post on IJ, LJ or DW and should use the sign-up template. All comments will be screened.
Q. - Will people know who signed up for the fest?
A. - Eventually. ;D But all comments on the sign-up post will be screened. One of the mods will e-mail participants to confirm their participation. Please contact the mods at spfestmod @ gmail.com if you do not receive a confirmation of your sign-up.
Q. - May I submit crafts or jewelery as my entry?
A. - Absolutely.
Q. - What if I sign-up and then the muse dries up?
A. - There is no penalty associated with not being able to submit an entry. Though the mods would appreciate knowing if you need to drop out or if you need an extension. We're all friends here.
Q. - Where should I submit my completed entry?
A. - All entries and any questions should be submitted to: spfestmod AT gmail DOT com
Q. - Will the entries be posted anonymously? Who is doing the posting?
A. - All entries will be posted by the spfestmods. And they will be posted anonymously. A masterlist of entries will be posted at the conclusion of the fest.
Q. - When will our submissions be due?
A. - All submissions are due September 19.
Q. - Do you happen to have a nifty icon (or four) I can use to promote the fest?
A. - We sure do! Please credit veridari for the art and the icon.
