It was a very nice story, of that there is no doubt, and thank you for the work :)
However... I am sorry, it was just so completely unrealistic (and yes, I am aware that I am talking about fanfiction on fantasy fiction :)
First, the sweetness of Severus... He was so absolutely, completely understanding, that I kept expecting either a high amount of alcohol or some kind of mind-altering potion being involved. Maybe its just me, but while I can imagine him producing supporting and understanding silence to his newly pregnant husband, I simply dont see him spouting those oversugared words...
And another thing that made me blink in surprise, Ron Weasley, in no way a subtle guy, was standing behind their half-opened door and neither of them had realized it?! We are still talking about Severus Snape, the Potions Master and Spy extraordinaire, the man whose paranoia and pessimism was on par with that of Mad-Eye Moody, and who had innumerable reasons for it after the betrayal of his fellow Death Eaters, and whose beloved husband was expecting a child, right? I mean... no wards? No warning about the presence of potentially harmful strangers whatsoever? And even if the wards were set to let the family in, with the relationships as they were portrayed, wouldnt they at least warn about somebodys approach?
Maybe that all, while honest, was just a little charade performed for one Ronald Weasley? If you write a sequel, you could let us know ;)
