I did a search for English names and wanted to find something that was common, yet something suitable to how I felt Severus sees himself. It is a small detail, but I'm so tickled that you got that. I'm glad you appreciated the use of soul magic instead of soul mates. The latter tends to get cliche and tired rather quickly, and it just seems too easy, you know? That's why I'm insanely happy to hear you say 'mature for a mature reader'. That is what I felt in this piece all along -- particularly with Harry. A man, but still youthful. It was refreshing to write.
