Coping Mechanisms
Alas, I have no new Snarry for their 10th anniversary, but I thought I'd post my first ever Snarry drabble in their honour. Happy anniversary, boys!

Title: Coping Mechanisms
Author: [info]angela_snape
Word Count: 100
Rating: G-PG
Challenge: #89 frozen
Warning(s): none
A/N: Be gentle, it's my first stab at writing Snarry.

The ice cubes clinked in the bottom of Severus' tumbler of firewhiskey. Another long day dealing with dunderheads who were unable to brew even the simplest of potions. Severus leaned back in his leather armchair, and stared into the fire burning in his hearth as he sipped the amber liquid.

*~*

Harry Potter turned the water in the shower as cold as he could. It had been another long Potions class with the greasy git, and he couldn't get the man out of his mind. With a whispered spell, he turned the water icy cold and braced himself against the tiles.

The imagery in this is so great for fulfilling the prompt. They're both frozen in different ways. I can seeing them thawing each other out later. Thanks for sharing!

Ooh I love it. And I don't remember having read it before.
See? You have natural Snarry talent. *g*

That was a brilliant take on the prompt. Nicely done! You clearly had the "knack" for them. ;)

Thanks so much! It took me a long time to try writing them, so I am glad you think my first attempt was good.
