Well, I bow to your superior knowledge, then. :) Though for me I don't really like a tall Harry. I think an inch shorter than Snape is fine, but taller somehow doesn't feel right to me as well. But it's as I said before, my Snarry really isn't really based on canon. When I started reading fanfics for the series, I sort of felt that fanon was far better than canon, and not just because Harry ended up with Ginny. The writers were just better in fanon, imo, and they weaved a more preferable picture. My Snarry is firmly rooted in fanon since I really was never that in to canon. Heck, for the last few books, I was only reading them just so I could keep up with fanon -- I pretty much lost interest in what J.K.R. was doing for the most part because the fans did it so much better. I never finished Deathly Hallows because it really didn't feel worth it. I can't even remember half of what I read, which is unusual for me and pretty much just shows how not into the books I was.
I guess it's just that I'm creative and have a very active and imaginative mind. The books took a single route with no question as to what happens -- fandom evolves to add on to that and then-some. That's really more my thing and probably the reason I don't intend to leave fandom since the series ended. In the end, the series was only a vague basis for my ideas to build upon, lol!
P.S: I sent you a e-mail @ the spfestmod acct. Just thought I'd let you know. :)
