What a great start to the fest! I love Harry's easy acceptance of the mistakes he's made and his commitment to doing better by the kids. The loss of Ginny is well done. I thought Al was really well done and realistic. Snape couldn't have been better. The bit explaining about how witches normally only had few births was inspired and explained why so many long-lived wizards had so few children. All in all, a great story.
