During Occlumency Snape discovers what Dolores Umbridge has been doing to Harry in detention, it turns out her blood quill does other things. Sexual abuse by Umbridge. Snape is torn because he fancies Harry but he doesn't want to take advantage of him. Up to the author whether or not he actually acts on those feelings while Harry is still a student or does he wait? 4) Aunt Petunia has always wanted a little girl. She makes Harry wear dresses and skirts and pretends he is a girl. No one knows Harry is really a boy, not even him until an potions accident at Hogwarts when he's 16 or 17 means Snape needs to remove his clothes... 5) Slughorn has abused members of his slug club before (Snape specificially). "You said he'll try to collect me. Do you want me to let him?" Severus discovers that the headmaster is willing to use Harry as bait in order to find that memory and he is appalled at such a breach of trust. How does Snape prevent Slughorn from doing to Harry what he did to him all those years ago? Maybe he polyjuices into Harry and takes his place, or something else? The other notices and is intrigued. #2 Harry is often out on the grounds late, and tries to get back to Gryffindor without being caught. Severus has to do things for Voldemort, and tries to get back to his rooms without being caught. They keep running into each other. #3 After book 6, Draco is given to Fenrir as punishment. Severus sneaks back into Hogwarts to get something he needs to brew Wolfsbane and/or a werewolf-specific healing potion. Harry catches him. Harry has a "saving people" thing, but he's angry. In their encounter, something happens that changes everything -- perhaps Harry using Legilimancy on Severus? I'm not sure how the second two get to sex, but I trust the creativity of Snarry writers. ;-) These are just suggestions. If you have something else that you think would float my boat, go for it!
