17. Homosexuality is outlawed in the Wizarding Britain. After the war, Harry and Hermione launch a campaign to change that. At first, Harry just tries to do ‘the right thing’, but slowly he realises he might not be as hetero as he thought. What will happen when Snape suddenly appears baring research results on his new project: potions enabling male pregnancy? Preferably including IC Ron. Meaning first he flips out, but then comes around (and not being either a bastard or over supportive). Could have any of the other Weasleys against them e.g. Mr Weasley (a bit of hypocrisy to add to his character).
18. Eileen Snape (or some other member of Snape’s family) is alive and she doesn’t approve of Harry. Unfortunately for him, in the Wizarding World the family has to approve the suitor for the eldest son before they can pursue a courtship. How much will Harry be willing to do to win her approval? Can be AU, but I don’t think it has to be one.
19. The war is slowly, but inexorably coming to a head and Severus is plagued with regular dreams of himself as Rasputin as the Russian aristocrats try to kill him. Not one to ignore a clear warning, he devotes his already sleepless nights to researching how the unfortunate alchemist managed to hold on to his life. In the process, he is forced to seek help with Sybil (Rasputin combined his abilities as a Seer with his potions knowledge, maybe?). And why of course, the Bat of the Tower insists that Potter is the answer to Severus’ problem. (Could contain my favourite teenage idea: Snape being a descendant of Rasputin and Anastasia Romanovna.)
20. Crossover with ‘Midsummer Murders’. Dudley works with chief inspector Barnaby. When a series of mysterious murders stump even the keen inspector, Dudley suspects involvement of the medical folk and contacts his cousin. Harry sees it as a perfect opportunity for some holiday and takes along Snape. Could include: canon children, Dud’s kid(s) being magical, the locals reaction to the odd ‘investigator’ from London and his even more bizarre ‘partner’.
21. Harry can’t sleep and wonders the castle. Suddenly, he notices the doors to the Room of Requirement and figures he must have walked past it three times. Curious as to what it might be he requires he walks in to find a luxurious bed. He sits down, thinking that he might as well try and sleep, he find himself blindfolded and thoroughly made love to. He becomes obsessed with finding his mysterious lover (Snape, obviously). What will he do when he discovers that it was the other man who conjured the room? First time? Student!Harry?
22. War with Voldemort alla “‘Allo! ‘Allo!”. (Preferably with Harry as Rene and Snape as Edith, but they can be any two characters, really.)
23. Snarry in your favourite comedy show.
24. Crossover with House. Petunia comes down with a mysterious illness and Dudley begs Harry for help. Hermione recommends House. How does the hospital crew react to the new patients family? How do Snape and Harry interact with House and Wilson? Will House think he’s loosing it again when faced with glimpses of magic? Could include House/Wilson or House/Caddy/Wilson, but doesn’t have to.
