1. When after the battle at Hogwarts there’s no sign of either Snape’s body or his portrait in the Headmaster’s office Aurors are sent out to find him (for whatever reason). He is found in a Muggle hospital, with his wounds healed, but in a magically induced coma. It is discovered that he’s taken the Vita Alucinans (loose translation: Life Wondering in Mind) potion that creates visions of an idealized version of the drinker’s future in his mind. Now a Leglimens has to enter Snape’s dream and convince him that he is in fact dreaming to break him out of the coma. And who’s better equipped to do that than Harry? (I’ve came up with a lot of background for the potion that I can share, if anyone wants it.)
2. Harry is impotent (either by magic or simple biology). For once, he does his own research and finds a treatment that can help him. At the same time, he becomes aware that Snape has romantic feelings for him. Still hung up on the idea of taking revenge on the man, he decides to kill two birds with one stone. He suggests to Snape, without outright saying so, that after he’s cured, he’d like to pursue a relationship with him, all the time intending to laugh in the man’s face at the end. Unfortunately for him, Harry never learned to finish reading his texts. What will happen when Harry has to move in with Snape for the very strict regimen of potions, taken at varied and unpredictable intervals, over the course of 69 days? (Probably AU, unless someone can figure a way around DH.)
3. A crossover with Firefly. (I don’t know how to do it, but wouldn’t it be great?)
4. Snarry inspired by the film ‘Across the Universe’ and/or Beatles music.
5. The creatures of the Forbidden Forest save Snape’s life. Their magic makes him exceptionally sensitive to the flow of natural/elemental magic and drawn to the outdoor world and wilderness. Snape has problems accepting the changes this brings into his life and Harry decides to help him adapt. (Yes, I’ve seen ‘Avatar’… some ten times.)
6. Snape dies in the Shack and Death offers him the position of Grim Ripper for the Great Britain. As the master of Deathly Hallows, Harry can see him when he comes to collect souls. Soon, Harry’s obsession with the man drives him to choose more and more dangerous missions and spend his free time wandering the ward for the terminally ill at St. Mungos. He distances himself from his friends and life. How does Snape react to him? What is Harry’s friends reaction to Harry’s sudden obsession with death?
7. Snarry based on ‘Wuthering Heights’. (God I love his book.)
8. Some years after the war, Snape helps a woman being attacked in a back alley. In return she promises to bring him into the ‘Rosarium Tea House’ – the most exclusive sporting house in both Muggle and Wizarding Britain. During his visit, he discovers that Harry, who everyone believed to be on the continent, is one of the companions there. When Snape tries to rescue him, Harry reveals that he chose to become a prostitute because he is a nymphomaniac. (I also came up with a lot of back story for the brothel, if anyone is interested.)
