Username(s) (LJ, IJ, DW): leira_amorphis General Location: I'll let you know when I pass a street sign. Age Range: 26 and still an unabashed snarry fan... How long in Snape/Harry Fandom: 6 years? Oh wait, there was a year where I found myself caught in a Drarry funk. Until, of course, I discovered the good stuff - you know, The Snarry. So that would be 5 yrs. Things I do in fandom (reader, writer, artist, vidder, mod, beta, newsletter editor, reccer, lurker, squee-er): reader, lurker, squee-er. favorite Snape/Harry cliche: AU, Post-Hogwarts (Are these cliches?) - oh honestly, I might as well confess my all time guilty pleasure: detention fics. And Post-DH with Alive!Snape. Top three favorite Snape/Harry works, links if you've got 'em: Asking me to list down top three fave works is insane. Three?! Insane I tell you. So as a compromise, I'll list only five of the original fifty fics I was planning on enumerating. The Sensible Garden by RaeWhit/JoanWilder -- I didn't know if I should smile or cry while reading this so I smiled through my tears. Beech Hall by Aucta Sinistra -- wit, my dear, is her middle name. Commonplace Magic by Acid and Sinick -- anything by this duo, really. the writing and art they dish out is just exquisite. Once Upon a Time Turner by Abstract Concept -- she cracks me up! And yes, Snape really has all the answers. Snape: The Home Fries Nazi by Pir8fancier -- Snape as a fry cook is surprisingly believable. Snape or Harry?: Snape, definetly, Snape. Other fandom(s): Recently, I find myself lured into reading cross-over fics, SPNxHP, NarutoxHP, AvatarxHP. And lately, I can't help but squee over gLee fics, *cough*puckurt*cough*. Not to forget DeathNote and DNxHP. Anything else you'd like us to know: I would really like to contribute more to the Snarry community but I'm not much of writer of fiction or artist for that matter. I'm interested in being beta but its kind of intimidating to offer up my services to the prolific writers out there. The writers and artists of this community are really talented; spinning their own tales while respecting cannon events and characterization, coming up with ludicrous plots yet still make them completely believable in the Potter-verse, sticking the HP characters in a setting devoid of magic but still retain the spark that makes all Snarry fanatics fall in love with the pairing all over again, or creating images so beautiful no swish and flick of a wand could have conjured them. These are only a few of the many reasons I've stuck with this fandom for a long time. Kudos to all the Snarry writers and artists out there.
