How long in Snape/Harry Fandom: Discovered Snarry after OOtP came out. I remember watching Harry's neck and thinking 'Why do I want to lick that?' and 'When did Harry get so hot?'. I had always thought Snape was hot but there was no one in my head he paired with until then. Then the Occlumency scene happened. Woo Baby!!I came home, wrote a dirty scene (which has never been posted) and then wondered if other folks had done that as well. My only previous experience with fan fiction had been some Paris/Harry from Voyager that my sister introduced me to so I knew people wrote this kind of stuff but imagine my surprise when I saw how many well written things were in the Snarry fandom!! Things I do in fandom (reader, writer, artist, vidder, mod, beta, newsletter editor, reccer, lurker, squee-er): read, write - would love to do vids but can't find enough time as it is to write. favorite Snape/Harry cliche: Detention!!(natch) I also have a soft spot for forced bonding. Top three favorite Snape/Harry works, links if you've got 'em: There are so many it's really hard to pare down but these are three I read early on that really sucked me into the fandom:
Snape or Harry?: I guess Harry as I like to read about him with other characters, particularly crossovers and yet I have a very hard time reading Snape with anyone one else (unless Harry is there)!!
Other fandom(s): Soo many - Supernatural (no wincest please), Firefly, Buffy/Angel, Lots of anime/manga including Ghost Hunt, Inuyasha, Gorgeous Carat, Saiyuki, Vampire Knight. These are the ones I actively look for although I'll many other slash stories if I stumble across it and it looks interesting. I really have an addiction for well-done crossovers.
Anything else you'd like us to know: Since I put my toe in the water attempting to write and not just read and lurk, you have all been very supportive. Thank you all so much. I never have enough time to read or write. I may drown in plot bunnies.
