Disclaimer: I do not own them, just playing with them.
Spoilers: Briefly for D.H.
The black stallion raised his head and scented the wind. Something moved just inside the tree line. The stallion whipped around and snorted. A roar, not very far away echoed on the breeze.
The stallion ran around the meadow, kicking up his heals as he went. He was feeling frisky and playful today. He’d made a new friend two weeks ago and he’d been waiting anxiously for his arrival. They’d played together everyday since their meeting in the meadow. The stallion’s long ebony mane flared as he ran. The freedom he felt in equine form was nothing short of spectacular.
~~~~~~
A red deer with a huge rack atop his head watched the black beauty gallop around the meadow. His blood heated in his veins and his red cock jutted from his body. The stallion was a sight to behold, elegant, graceful and shimmering like black diamonds.
The red deer with the glittering green eyes pranced into the meadow. Severus reared up on his hind legs, showing off for his handsome stag.
Severus wondered from time to time, who his friend was, but then again, did it really matter? They were free and happy and after all, ignorance is bliss.
~~~~~~
Reports of his death had been highly exaggerated. He’d hoped that a few people who knew him, wouldn’t believe him stupid enough to get himself killed by a snake. That snake in particular, had gotten rather fond of him. So his death was easy enough to fabricate.
However, no one knew that he was an animagus. He’d perfected it in secret and remained unregistered to this day. His escape was complete, his freedom assured. He never had to go back. He could run like the wind through the meadow, wander through the forest and graze along the grassy hillsides forever.
~~~~~~
The red deer nuzzled the side of the stallion’s neck. The Stag had waited two weeks for this, unsure if the stallion was truly a stallion or an animagus like himself. Now he knew. He’d waited and watched the black robed man enter the meadow and change before his eyes. He understood. The war itself had driven him to disappear from the wizarding world for good.
The stag’s roar could be heard for miles as his beautiful stallion mounted him. Would he ever let on to Severus who he really was? Maybe someday, but for now, ignorance was truly bliss.
