The next film was from 1985, and fortunately Severus did not seem to have seen it. Nor did he laugh, dress like one of the characters, or invite his mysterious friend to join him. If anything, he seemed distinctly morose afterwards, to the point where even the house elves avoided him.
It was inexplicable, since the movie was an amusing, inconsequential, and intensely American bit of fluff. Minerva was puzzled, since Severus had never so much as been to America, let alone displayed any particularly animosity to MACUSA.
“It’s obvious, Minerva,” said Septima Vector over breakfast. “It’s the time travel.”
